Velox is a lightweight, privacy-hardened browser built on a "Midnight Cyber" architecture. Unlike standard browsers that prioritize telemetry, Velox focuses on total network obfuscation by utilizing integrated Tor tunneling and aggressive, hardware-level tracker elimination. My goal was to create a clutter-free, zero-trace environment for users who demand absolute anonymity without the overhead of heavy, bloated software.

Surprisingly snappy for something running Tor under the hood, and the default tracker-blocking seems aggressive in a good way. Curious how it holds up on sites that fingerprint aggressively.
@duyguridapagq Glad to hear the performance is holding up! Tor routing is always a balancing act, but we've put a lot of work into the networking stack to keep that snappiness. Regarding fingerprinting: we’re constantly hardening the browser against modern techniques, but it's an arms race. We’d love for you to put it to the test—if you find any specific site that bypasses our defenses, please report it. That’s how we improve
This looks really promising for anyone serious about privacy. One thing I'd love to see is a built-in tab container system, so you can isolate different identities or sessions from each other inside Velox itself. It would complement the Tor tunneling nicely and make it easier to manage multiple anonymous profiles without juggling extensions.
@magdennaim6654 Great suggestion. We’ve been discussing a native tab container implementation to complement the Tor isolation. It makes a lot of sense—managing identity separation at the browser level is far more reliable than relying on extensions that might have their own privacy leaks. It’s definitely on our radar as we focus on better session management
the tor integration feels surprisingly snappy, and the ui is clean without that cluttered toolbar mess. nice to see a privacy browser that doesn't sacrifice speed for anonymity.
@ecekikardeyzsa Appreciate the feedback! Balancing Tor's anonymity with everyday browsing speed was one of the hardest parts of building this. We also strongly believe that privacy tools shouldn't look like airplane cockpits, so keeping the UI clean and intuitive was a top priority. Glad to hear the experience is hitting the mark for you
the focus on zero telemetry and tor tunneling straight out of the box is honestly a refreshing move, no bloat, no clutter, just a clean path to actual anonymity.
@masalyxsz Exactly what we were aiming for. The goal was to remove the friction between 'wanting to be private' and 'actually being private.' Bloat and telemetry are the enemies of anonymity, so stripping everything back to the essentials was the only way to do it right. Glad the approach resonates with you
