I started building it around a problem I kept seeing in everyday life: we own thousands of pounds worth of things, but the evidence connected to them is scattered everywhere. Receipts disappear into emails and drawers. Warranties get forgotten. Documents live in different folders. Photos stay on our phones. Then, when something breaks, gets stolen, or you simply need to find the information again, you have to reconstruct everything. Vekrin is my attempt to fix that. It connects your possessions with their receipts, photos, warranties, documents and other household records. One of the features I’m particularly proud of is Receipt Intelligence. Upload a receipt and Vekrin can extract the purchase information and individual items, show confidence levels, flag inconsistencies for review, and help turn that receipt into useful structured records instead of another forgotten file. From there, Vekrin can help you maintain your home inventory, organise warranties and documents, understand household information, ask questions through Vekrin Assistant, and create a structured Insurance Inventory Pack from the evidence you’ve collected.
