Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I am Darvan Shvan, Founder at Revge, and we are incredibly proud to introduce Vekol.
For years, global AI tools have struggled with the Kurdish language, often relying on literal translations that miss cultural nuances and completely ignore the rich diversity of our dialects. We built Vekol to bridge this digital gap and bring Kurdish into a new technological era.
Vekol is the first advanced AI platform built from the ground up specifically for Kurdish dialects (Sorani, Kurmanji, Hawrami, Zazaki). Currently, our platform features:
Speech-to-Text
Text-to-Speech (with emotional nuance)
Voice Cloning & Design
Translation & OCR
Digital Dictionaries
Our team is actively working on expanding our datasets and adding even more dialects. We would love for you to try it out, and we are here to answer any questions and hear your feedback!

Tried the Sorani text-to-speech and it actually sounded natural, not robotic like other Kurdish tools I have used before. Hoping they add more dialects soon.

The Kurdish language has so many dialects and Vekol finally feels like it gets that. One thing I'd love to see is a browser extension that lets me translate or transcribe Kurdish content from any webpage in real time, would make reading Kurdish news sites so much smoother.

honestly this is really cool, kurdish has been overlooked for way too long. one thing that would make a huge difference is adding a kirkuk or gorani dialect option, since a lot of families speak those at home but rarely see any tech support for them. would love to see that kind of depth built in.

This is genuinely needed for Kurdish speakers. One thing that would make it even more useful is adding a mobile app with offline mode, since reliable internet can be hard to find in many parts of Kurdistan and people often want to use voice tools on the go.

It would be great to see a mobile keyboard integration so people can type in Kurdish directly inside apps like WhatsApp or Instagram, not just on the Vekol platform itself.

The Kurdish OCR surprised me by handling handwritten notes better than expected. Voice cloning still sounds a bit robotic on Sorani, but the translation across dialects is genuinely useful for daily reading.
