Vekol is the first AI platform dedicated to the Kurdish language. It bridges the digital gap with accurate Speech-to-Text, emotional Text-to-Speech, Voice Cloning, OCR, and advanced translation across multiple Kurdish dialects.
Tried the Sorani text-to-speech and it actually sounded natural, not robotic like other Kurdish tools I have used before. Hoping they add more dialects soon.
The Kurdish language has so many dialects and Vekol finally feels like it gets that. One thing I'd love to see is a browser extension that lets me translate or transcribe Kurdish content from any webpage in real time, would make reading Kurdish news sites so much smoother.
honestly this is really cool, kurdish has been overlooked for way too long. one thing that would make a huge difference is adding a kirkuk or gorani dialect option, since a lot of families speak those at home but rarely see any tech support for them. would love to see that kind of depth built in.
Finally a platform that takes Kurdish seriously and the speech-to-text is shockingly accurate on Sorani, even with background noise.
