VeilSend is a free, open-source Windows app for checking logs, screenshots and PDFs before sharing. Process content locally, review suggested redactions, save a separate copy and check the saved output. Start with the built-in fake sample. This unsigned experimental beta has limited compatibility testing; detectors can miss details. Exported PDFs are image-only, without searchable text, forms or signatures.
Hi Product Hunt! VeilSend is for the moment before you send a support log, bug-report screenshot or client PDF.
The workflow is simple: inspect locally, review what should be removed, then save and check a separate copy. Text rules, Windows OCR, face/QR/barcode detection and manual PDF covers help with different kinds of accidental disclosure. No cloud upload is needed for processing.
This is a free, MIT-licensed Windows x64 experimental beta, not a stable or certified security product. The build is unsigned, compatibility testing is limited, and clean-PC, disconnected-network and uninstall checks are still outstanding. PDF exports are image-only and lose search, forms and signatures. Keep originals and manually inspect every result.
Please start with Try safe sample. Did you finish a handoff without switching tools? What single improvement would make you use it again? Descriptions and fake examples only—please do not post private files, real secrets or customer data.
