Does the quick preview actually support layered files like AI or PSD with all the layers intact, or is it just a flattened thumbnail?

@glahnayne6u VectorView previews Ai and PSD files as their original quality, but it cannot show layers separately. It's not small size thumbnail, you can see full size and export to high quality dpi and set higher size when exporting.
Does VectorView handle AI and EPS files cleanly, or do you need the actual Adobe apps installed for those to preview properly?

@alperenerkartal VectorView handles AI and EPS files independently, no need to install other third part applications. It previews them cleanly, you can try by downloading VectorView free from Mac Appstore.
Finally something that previews AI and EPS files without launching Illustrator every time. The color-coded tags make finding client assets way less painful than digging through Finder.
