Vectorcut · 2D animated explainer videos: Turn a script into a 2D animated explainer video

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Nobody. I'm an engineer who doesn't love paying for subscriptions, so everything I build is pay-for-outcomes: you pay when you get the result. Vectorcut exists because explainer videos are slow to make, and many of the tools that make them want a monthly plan. Stock animation tools make you drag keyframes around; AI video generators give you blurry text and inconsistent characters. Vectorcut takes a different route: every scene is real vector art (SVG) plus a list of animations. That means text is always sharp, every scene shares one style, and any scene can be redrawn with a plain-English instruction. A few details: • Bring your own keys (Anthropic or OpenAI for drawing, ElevenLabs or Cartesia for voice). They're stored only in your browser and sent with each request, through Vectorcut's server, to the provider. The server never saves them. • Rendering happens in your browser, so there's no queue. • It works inside Claude: add the connector and ask it to make the video. • Free to edit and preview; $3.50 or $5 per export, no subscription.
