Veckopeng started as a real problem at home. I wanted my kids to understand money, effort, and responsibility, but existing apps felt either too rigid, too gamified, or too controlling. Spreadsheets worked, but killed motivation.
I built Veckopeng to match how families actually work: sometimes allowance is earned, sometimes it’s automatic, and chores shouldn’t turn into arguments. Over time I stripped things back, removed automation that felt wrong, and focused on clarity, safety, and calm UX for parents, while keeping kids motivated.
This launch is a big milestone for a side project built evenings and weekends. I’d love feedback, questions, and honest thoughts.
