What do you think? …

Patrick Cheruiyot
Pitching investors can feel like stepping into a ring. You rehearse, you’ve got traction, you’re ready, and then one unexpected punch lands. That was me, more than once, with Antler and other rooms. I wasn’t underprepared; I was unprepared for their logic. So I scratched my own itch and built VC Mirror, an AI investor simulator that grills me the way a sharp partner would. It still surprises me every time I use it. Why we built it: No matter how tight my deck was, there were always one or two questions that blindsided me, the kind that decide meetings. I wanted a safe place to get those questions before I’m in the room. Not generic advice, but investor logic aimed straight at my blind spots. What it does: VC Mirror mirrors how investors think across the full stack: Problem, Solution, Market, Traction, Business Model, Competition, Team, Fundraising. It pushes back where you’re weakest. • If you’re early-stage: it helps test if the idea is venture-backable, surface gaps before you build, and decide whether to pivot, polish, or pitch. • If you’re fundraising: it stress-tests the narrative, benchmarks readiness, and sharpens answers for the questions that move you from first meeting to second. How it feels to use: You don’t get coddled. You get pressed. “If the opportunity’s so big, why haven’t the well-funded players already won it? What’s your defensibility beyond words?” Or: “Trust doesn’t pay bills. Show me revenue streams and a path to scale. Be specific.” VC Mirror forces you to answer like it’s live: crisp, credible, and defensible. When your logic wobbles, it doesn’t move on, it digs. Who this is for: • Founders with a concept: sanity-check venture potential before spending months building. • Founders gearing up to raise: rehearse under pressure, tighten the story, and walk in already battle-tested. My take: Preparation shouldn’t be guesswork. It should feel like looking in a mirror: instant feedback on what’s working, what’s not, and what to fix before anyone else sees it. That’s what we built. That’s VC Mirror.
