Hi Product Hunt! I built Vayu because I was frustrated with the current state of API tools. Postman has become bloated and forces cloud synchronization, while high-performance tools like JMeter lack a modern developer experience. Vayu bridges the gap. It is a desktop application that lets you debug APIs visually and then stress-test them instantly—without switching tools. Key Features: 🚀 High Performance: Uses a native C++20 engine for maximum throughput. 🔒 Privacy First: 100% local. No cloud sync, no forced logins. Your data stays on your disk. ⚡ Sidecar Architecture: The UI (Electron) remains responsive even while the engine pumps thousands of requests per second. 📜 Scripting: Compatible with Postman's pm.test syntax using embedded QuickJS. 💻 Cross-Platform: Available for Windows, and Linux.
