Curious whether you've found that people buy Vault primarily because they don't want to link their bank, or because manually recording subscriptions makes spending feel more intentional. Those seem like two very different customer motivations.

One thing I'd be especially curious to learn as people start using Vault is whether they describe it as a privacy tool or as a spending-awareness tool.
Those sound similar, but they attract very different users—and over time they can pull the product in different directions.

One thing I'll be interested to see a few months from now is which message users naturally repeat when they recommend Vault to someone else.
"Finally, a subscription tracker that respects my privacy" and "This made me much more aware of my spending" sound close, but they create very different products over time.
I'll be curious to see which one the market chooses.
Love that you skipped the bank connection entirely, that's the kind of privacy-first thinking that makes someone actually want to use it. The manual entry approach also feels more honest, you really see what you're spending instead of just glancing at an auto-pulled list.
