The Corsair Xeneon Edge ships a widget dashboard that only runs in iCUE on Windows — plug it into a Mac and it's just a dead second monitor. Vardek rebuilds that widget layer natively: a full-screen, touch-driven 8×2 grid with nine bundled widgets (weather, crypto, F1, calendar, macros, and more) rotating through carousel pages. It's iCUE-widget-compatible, so you can drop in community widgets as plain web folders. Everything runs on loopback — no cloud, no accounts, no telemetry.

Hey PH 👋 I built Vardek to scratch my own itch. I run a Xeneon Edge on my Mac and was annoyed that Corsair's widget dashboard is Windows/iCUE-only — on macOS the panel is just a second display. So I rebuilt the widget layer natively. Two small pieces, both on your machine: a tiny Swift daemon that serves the dashboard over 127.0.0.1, and a WKWebView shell that fills the Edge panel full-screen (green button drops it to a normal movable window). It binds to loopback and stays there — no telemetry, no accounts. Because widgets are just manifest.json + index.html folders, it's iCUE-compatible — you can import community widgets as-is. Finally something useful for the Edge on Mac — the carousel pages feel snappy and not having to fire up iCUE is a relief. The local-only approach is exactly what I want from a peripheral app.
