love this concept, tested it with a vite dev server and the link worked instantly. one thing that would make it even better for me, a small qr code embedded in the share page so i can pop the preview onto my phone without typing the url. would also be handy to lock links with a simple passcode when sharing client work before launch.

This is super useful for quick demos. One thing I'd love: a password or simple access code option before someone can open the link, since sharing localhost to clients can feel a bit too open right now.
@meralyarba57925 Thanks for the note 😀 Already shipped! Password protection is a Pro feature -- set it directly on the link before you send it. Your client hits a gate before they see anything.

Sending a localhost prototype to a client without any gate felt wrong to me too. The link should be diliberate: right person, right time, dead after.

A 30 second turnaround is genuinely useful for those quick demo handoffs. One thing that would make it even better for me is letting me set a custom short alias for the link so the client doesnt get a random-looking URL they cant recognise or type back to me. Something like a 4-6 character custom slug that I pick when the link is created would be perfect.
@erol31009 excellent point. Random URLs are fine for a one-shot send, terrible when the client needs to recognize or retype them or you are working with a team. Good pin.
Custom 4–6 character slugs at create time are on the Pro roadmap for exactly that. Not shipped yet, but high on the list. Thanks for the note and validation of the need.
pasted my localhost port and honestly it just worked, got a link in like 20 seconds for my buddy to test. love that i can set it to expire in an hour so im not leaving random stuff exposed

Love how clean the flow is from folder drop to shareable link, no signup wall in the way. The expiry options at 1 hour and 24 hours feel like the right defaults for something this frictionless.
