A free directory where indie games and apps are ranked only by players: upvotes, reviews and comments. Nobody can buy a rank. Makers list for free, and the monthly Indie Cup resets the race to zero so new launches get a real shot.
hey product hunt, i'm valeri.
i make small indie games. building them was never the hard part. getting anyone to see them was. every directory i tried either sold the top spots or ranked whoever already had an audience.
so i built valeri.tech: a board of indie games and apps where the only way up is players voting, reviewing and commenting. the scoring formula is public. there are paid featured spots (that's how it pays for itself), but they're labelled and never move the ranking.
