Hey!
I built UtilityBase out of a small, recurring frustration: you search for a simple tool — "word counter," "pdf editor," "unit converter" and land on a page buried in pop-ups, half of them wanting a sign-up or stamping a watermark on your result.
UtilityBase is 400+ small, fast tools in one place, and the part I care about most: everything runs locally in your browser. Your files, text, and data are never uploaded to a server.
It started with the everyday stuff (calculators, converters, device/screen tests, text, image & PDF tools), but lately I've been building bigger "flagship" tools that are genuinely fun to use:
• Code Playground - live HTML/CSS/JS with instant preview
• SQL Playground - a real SQLite database running in your browser
• PDF Editor, a Mermaid diagram editor, a step-sequencer drum machine, and more
All free, all private, all instant, no account required.
I'd genuinely love your feedback: which tool do you reach for most, and what's missing? I add new ones constantly. Thanks for checking it out 🙏

Love that everything runs locally, super reassuring for the PDF and image tools. One thing that would make this a daily go-to for me is a simple "favorites" or pinned section at the top so I can jump straight to the 3-4 tools I actually use without scrolling through 400 every time.

honestly really solid collection, been using the PDF merge tool a lot already. one thing though, a dark mode toggle for the site itself would be nice since some of these pages get pretty bright when you are jumping between tools at night. could be a simple little switch in the header.

Finally a hub for all the random web tools I keep bookmarking separately. The local-only PDF and image tools are a nice touch since nothing actually leaves your device.

honestly love that everything runs locally, no uploading files anywhere feels like such a relief. the layout is clean too, basically everything's just right there without hunting around.

The local-only approach is such a thoughtful choice for handling files and images, makes it feel way more trustworthy than the typical upload-and-pray tools. Really clean execution.

Love that everything runs locally. Feels rare to find a toolkit this big that actually respects privacy by design instead of just saying it does.
