I built a byte level language model last year to see if something small could be useful with a narrow task. The task that kept surfacing was predicting which tradeoff I would make. Usual is that idea. It mines your Claude Code and Codex conversations for decisions you made and transforms them into a pattern for future decisions to be made by your agent without you. It’s local and open and easily deleted. Give it a try.

Probably not the way people do things here but I added a new feature to usual that enables you to stop opening browser windows inside Claude and codex apps but to go to out like to chrome or safari instead. Enjoy.
