Hey Product Hunt! π
I'm an indie developer, and today I'm excited to share something I've been building: UsefulGo π
The idea started from a small frustration.
Sometimes I just need to compress an image, remove a background, convert a file, or use a quick calculator.
But I kept running into websites that required an account, had confusing interfaces, or asked me to pay before downloading the result.
I thought: why does something so simple need to be so complicated?
So I started building UsefulGo.
My goal is to create a collection of free, lightweight tools that anyone can use without unnecessary steps.
No account. No complicated setup. Just open the website and get things done.
I'm starting with everyday utilities like image compression, background removal, PDF tools, and calculators, and gradually expanding based on what people actually need.
Building this project has taught me a lot about user experience, performance, SEO, and the challenge of creating something genuinely useful.
UsefulGo is still growing, and there's a lot I want to improve.
That's why I'm here.
I'd love to hear from this community:
π What small online tool do you find yourself using over and over again?
π What's one tool you wish was completely free and didn't require an account?
Your feedback would genuinely help me decide what to build next.
Thanks for checking out UsefulGo and being part of the journey! β€οΈ
