Two things people will ask. First, there is a free personal tier for evaluation, live on Firefox Add-ons: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US... . Second, why not Claude in Chrome or Playwright MCP? Claude in Chrome serves one vendor's agent in one browser; Playwright launches its own browser instance. Usable Browser Agent works with any MCP client (Claude Code, Codex, your own), in Firefox as well as Chrome, in the browser you already have open, with nothing leaving your machine.
Update from the maker: the free tier is now fully self-serve.
When we launched here, the free Firefox add-on needed a local MCP server that was not yet public. It is now: install the add-on from Firefox Add-ons, then run npm install -g usable-browser-agent && uba-install and the installer wires it into Claude Code or Codex. About two minutes. Free for personal use and evaluation.
There is also a 39-second demo on the landing page: Claude Code checking Product Hunt notifications in a signed-in Firefox, every frame a screenshot the extension took of the page it was driving.
The $39 one-time commercial license is unchanged and adds the Chrome build.
