I made this because I noticed something weird. Some websites were extremely slow to download from. But when I put the file into Google Drive first, downloading it from Drive was super fast. So I built URL2Drive to skip my local machine entirely. Instead of: Website → My laptop → Upload to Drive Now it’s directly: Website → Google Drive This saves time, bandwidth, and I don’t have to keep my laptop open waiting for the file to finish. Would love to know if anyone else had the same problem and if this solves it for you 🙌
