At the start of the year, I found myself unable to submit a urine sample for a drug screening—after three hours, multiple painful, humiliating attempts, and still, nothing. Frustrated and searching for answers, I discovered a Reddit community, r/paruresis, filled with hundreds of posts from people just like me, all struggling with the same issue. Each one was a call for help, but there wasn’t a single comprehensive solution. It was a moment of clarity: Paruresis affects millions, but no one was building a structured solution to address it. That’s why I decided to create Uribrave.
