Hi Product Hunt — I made this $5 Excel workbook for Upwork freelancers who want to track acquisition costs across proposals, not just calculate one proposal in isolation.
You manually enter proposals, Connects used (including any boost actually charged), contract fee rates, recorded earnings and withdrawals. The nine-sheet workbook provides monthly totals, contract-level marginal-cost views, and a one-job calculator that uses your own win-rate assumption. The download also includes a two-page quick-start PDF.
It does not connect to Upwork or import account data. The contract view does not allocate monthly Freelancer Plus membership or withdrawal fees; the one-job calculator assumes one separate withdrawal and excludes Plus allocation. Results are planning and bookkeeping subtotals, not profit, take-home or earnings guarantees.
Validated for the documented scenarios in Microsoft Excel 2021 on Windows. Other Excel versions, Google Sheets and LibreOffice have not been validated. No macros. All monetary inputs are in USD. Not affiliated with Upwork.
