We are thrilled to share this amazing tool we’ve been working on. We started to work on UpdateHub due to the lack of options to update firmware Over The Air, noticing that companies frequently require to update their device fleet altogether, which usually turns out to be highly expensive and time consuming. We also realized that many platforms fail to contemplate all aspects related to firmware updating, only offering basic functionality and making teams work a lot to make it practical. We needed a safe tool that helped us to update devices safely and quickly. Then we gathered all requirements related to firmware over-the-air updates and started working on the project considering the firmware needs. The main idea was to optimize the update process and offer an option to manage the packages. Two years later, we get a tool that is even more capable than we could conceive in the beginning: a complete, scalable solution that handles all aspects related to firmware updating, that allows for update’s package management and for update monitoring and controlling.
