Hi PH! I'm the maker of Unweb, adblock for distractions. If you get sucked in easily by things like feeds, suggested articles, and related videos when you visit a site like Facebook, YouTube, Reddit or Twitter, Unweb's for you. Unweb hides those distractions behind a white box by default. There's a button so you can opt into a distraction when you need it — so you don't lose any functionality of the site at all. But this way, the distraction isn't there to lure you in from the start. I'm building Unweb because I want you - not the designers of distractions - to decide how you interact with the most popular sites on the internet. @sarahsemark Yup that is totally fair. It is 100% in my sights to make it for other browsers once I've shown people want it on Chrome. In fact, I tested it on Firefox and it worked pretty well already. Which browser do you use?

I find distracting unsolicited material trying to capture my attention very irritating and I am sure that it influences my mood and diminishes my output so this is very welcome thanks!

This is looking fantastic Louis! I look forwarding to seeing how you develop this. I've emailed you some feedback. I think for you one downside to Product Hunt is the related products which has suggested to me an impressive looking alternative, but I hope they inspire you.

@louis_barclay Yes, I've not heard of that one before. I think it has a better UI but Unweb I think hides more. I especially like their automatic redirection feature that I can set to a more productive website.
