Waiting mode is the ADHD freeze where one 2pm meeting makes the whole morning unusable, your brain guards the clock instead of starting anything. Unstuck reads your Google Calendar (read-only), finds the gap before your next commitment, scores which task is safe to start, and fires hard-stop alerts at T-15 and T-5 so starting doesn't risk being late. Free tier available.

Hi PH, founder here. I built this because I kept losing entire afternoons to a single 30-minute call. Not procrastination, the ADHD "waiting mode" pattern where your working memory babysits the clock and nothing else fits. Unstuck externalizes that clock-guarding: gap detection, one safe-to-start task, and alerts you can actually trust to interrupt you. Note on the name: we're "Unstuck, ADHD Waiting Mode" (waitingmode.app), not the CBT journaling app of the same name. Happy to answer anything about the mechanism or the build.

the hard-stop alerts are honestly the part that makes this click for me. knowing i have a guaranteed "you have to stop now" signal takes the anxiety out of starting something i know i'll get sucked into. calendar read-only is a nice touch too.
