I built Unreal because I’ve always been fascinated by how ads shape the way we think sometimes in ways we don’t even notice. Inspired by the magic sunglasses from They Live, I wanted to give people a tool that lets them see through the glossy layers of marketing and understand the real message behind any advertisement. What makes Unreal unique compared to other “ad blockers” or fact-check tools is that it doesn’t just hide ads or throw data at you it actually decodes them. It breaks down the psychology, the hidden triggers, and even rewrites the message in plain language. It’s like putting on those glasses and suddenly the world looks a little clearer. What I’m most proud of is turning a fun, sci-fi idea into something practical that empowers people. Launching this feels like a small rebellion against manipulative advertising, and I’m excited to see how people use it.
