I would like to introduce you all to Uniword.
«Uniword: try phonics keyboard!» is a fun, effective and interactive way to start a child on their reading journey.
The main advantages of the app include the phonics keyboard for typing words, the ‘ultimate words’ database, a set of games and exercises that use the keyboard plus the joyful and reassuring voiceover. The app uses a modern method of teaching reading based on parent-child interactions. Uniword is a cute and funny character who will help a child learn this important skill. On the app, you can find a variety of ideas and exercises to improve kid’s reading skills, like phonemic awareness, phonics and vocabulary.
But wait, that’s not all. In “I Spy” section a kid can play with unicorn, solve the riddles and learn new words. Each riddle consists of general features of an object like appearance and/or usage and the first letter of the object’s name, e.g.
