Universal Display Magnet snaps your Mac's monitors together and puts them back after every wake or reconnect. It lines up Universal Control across your Macs, brings windows back to their monitor and Desktop, and snaps windows from the keyboard. Turn on Scrolling Windows and every window becomes a column on a strip that scrolls, with stacks, tabs, trackpad swipes and a grid per display. Syncs between your Macs, encrypted, with no account or cloud.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I work on a Mac Studio with an ultrawide and a small portable display, and a Mac mini next to it through Universal Control. Every morning something had moved: the portable on the wrong side, the Mac mini's screens drifting so the pointer crossed in the wrong place, and every window piled onto whichever monitor woke up first.
macOS's own arrangement sheet won't even let you place two displays perfectly flush. So I built Universal Display Magnet: arrange your displays once, and it keeps putting them back.
What it does:
Drag displays in a visual editor and they snap edge to edge, with edges and centres lined up. One click snaps them all together.
Remembers the arrangement for each set of monitors and re-applies it on every wake, reconnect or dock change. Identical monitors are told apart by their serial numbers.
Arranges Universal Control across your Macs on one canvas: drag the other Mac's screens and they snap flush, applied live, with an undo.
Workspaces save every window's monitor, Desktop and position, and bring them back with one click or a shortcut.
Window snapping from the keyboard (halves, quarters, next display, maximize, centre), plus sizes you draw yourself on a grid.
Optional Scrolling Windows: a horizontal strip of windows with stacks, tabs and grid tiling.
Keeps two Macs in sync directly over your network, encrypted. Nothing to pair.
No account, no cloud, no analytics. It never asks to record your screen.
