Hi everyone! 👋
I'm excited to finally introduce Typebook.
For the past ten years, I've been collecting and sharing graphic design inspiration through Logobook. Along the way, I've become increasingly fascinated by lettering — particularly the extraordinary variety of letterforms that exist beyond conventional fonts.
As a designer, I've often found myself looking for a particular typographic feeling rather than a specific typeface. Something expressive, unexpected or simply different from the usual font menu.
And if you've ever seen Ryan Gosling's Papyrus sketch on SNL, you'll know exactly what I mean! 😄
That frustration became the starting point for Typebook.
What if you could browse lettering visually, find a style you love and immediately try it with your own words?
Typebook brings together a growing collection of curated lettering styles with AI-powered generation, allowing you to experiment with typography in seconds.
It's not about replacing the craft of typography. I see it as a creative sketchbook — somewhere to explore ideas, discover unexpected directions and develop something original.
You can try your first generation without signing up, and there are five free generations each month once you register.
I'd love to hear what you think. Which styles work best? What would you like to see added? And how could Typebook become more useful in your creative process?
Thanks for taking a look, and have fun experimenting!
