The Tymit story It all started with two brothers, Martin and Nico, living oceans apart but reunited by a simple belief - the credit card was broken. They’d both spent years working behind the scenes for high-street banks – Martin in the US, Nico in the UK - and had seen first-hand what makes the credit card industry tick. And it wasn’t pretty. With hidden fees, interest heaped on interest and minimum payment traps, it’d been built with the bottom line in mind, not the customer. So they decided to call time on the credit card as we know it and set out on a mission to put the customer in control. Tapping into the latest tech, they’d reinvent credit from the ground up and give card holders the power to plan when they pay – to time it their way. To Tymit.
