I found Bloody Mary mixes were at best, mediocre. I couldn't just add vodka to a mix and have a great bloody. It required all kinds of doctoring. So bloodies could either be easy, or great, but not both. I messed around with it, and found if I make it backwards, it solved the problem! The tomato juice breaks down the flavors in traditional mixes - they get muddy and bleh. I put all the herbs, spices, salt, vinegar, etc. all in the vodka. So you just add this vodka to plain tomato juice and it makes a great Bloody Mary, but is easy! Now I'm looking to rebuild my company (a mom & pop distillery) around taking Twisted Bloody Vodka national. It has huge potential to change the Bloody Mary market.
