Hello Product Hunt! Sports is and always has been a communal experience. Being a sports fan is about a whole range of emotions—from disappointment to stress to euphoria—and a huge part of the fan experience is the wave of highs and lows sweeping everyone at the same time. In the same way that the rest of the world has moved to a digital way of doing things, so has the sports fandom. Now it’s social media that leads the fan experience. I, like many others, scroll through Twitter while watching games. The viewing experience and the social feed are currently disjointed. Twickr aims to bring that together. 🚀 Twickr is a Chrome extension that adds a Twitter feed to live sports streams on Disney+ Hotstar—one of the largest OTT platforms in India, that provides streaming of live sports. The Twickr sidebar sits next to the live match screen and streams tweets in real-time from a curated list of Twitter accounts—official team accounts, journalists, fan channels, and more—enhancing your match experience with live commentary, reactions and insights.
