I’ve always been a heavy X/Twitter user.
The idea for Tweexr came from a simple frustration: “Why can’t I just listen to my Twitter feed like a radio show instead of staring at my screen?”
I wanted to turn public posts into natural, journalistic-style narrations using AI, so people could consume content hands-free. I started with a basic TTS prototype and kept iterating — improving voice quality, adding themed radios (like Brazilian football, politics, tech), custom feeds, multi-language support, and proper background audio playback.
The biggest challenges were avoiding duplicate audio generation, optimizing for mobile performance, and making the narration feel professional rather than robotic. It’s been a solo project (while working full-time), and I learned a ton about building with AI, audio pipelines, and indie app distribution.
Right now it’s live on iOS, with Android coming soon.

finally a way to catch up on x without doom scrolling, the tech station feels like a proper briefing on the commute. voice pacing is surprisingly natural.

@mirayugle Thanks for the comments. Avoiding the doomscroll and turning it into something useful (like a quick briefing on the commute) was one of the main goals. Thanks for trying it out!
