Introducing the Tulip:
"Flow-controlled immersion brewing"
I loved the amazing aromas and flavors that only a siphon brew seems to make, but was absolutely frustrated by the finickiness of the technique. I loved the simplicity of the AeroPress, but wanted something just a little bit more than what the technique could create. So my idea was to use the AeroPress upside-down to mimic the key aspect of the siphon that makes it unique: the vacuum.
The initial results using a very crude setup (think Tupperware bin glued to an AeroPress cap) were very good. The results have only got better as we've continued to evolve the design. I can confidently say that I've received more "wows" with the Tulip than I have serving coffee with any other technique. It really is that good.
We're getting close to finalizing the design and would love to gauge interest, gather feedback, and connect with fellow coffee lovers. If you're curious or want to follow along, we have an email signup on our website for early updates and launch news.
We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or ideas. Feel free to drop them in the comments. Always happy to chat coffee! ☕️
Cheers,
Wesley & Dustin
