Tubox is a free, privacy-first online image toolbox for creators, online sellers, and anyone handling personal photos. It combines batch compression and resizing, format conversion, watermarking, AI background removal, 2x/4x upscaling, 30+ ID-photo formats, collages, social layouts, GIF tools, EXIF metadata cleanup, annotations, and QR-code generation. Processing runs locally in the browser, images are not uploaded, and no account is required for core use.

I built Tubox after running into the same tradeoff again and again: online image tools are convenient, but sensitive photos still have to be uploaded to a server.
Tubox takes the other route. Compression, AI background removal, upscaling, ID photos, collage layouts, GIF conversion and EXIF cleanup run in the browser. There is no account and no image-upload endpoint.
The engineering choices are visible: batch jobs use a Worker pool, AI inference tries WebGPU and falls back to WASM, and EXIF/XMP/IPTC data is removed without re-encoding image pixels. Models load only when an AI tool is opened.
The tradeoff is first-load performance and older mobile devices. I would especially value feedback on Safari/iOS, low-memory phones, and which workflow feels clunky on first use.
