Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Rémi, solo founder of Trya. I spent the last 2 years in France building the budget app I wished existed, one that doesn't feel like a spreadsheet or a data-harvesting operation.
Three things that make Trya different from Mint, Rocket Money, Copilot or Monarch:
1. A private AI coach that actually knows your money. Most "AI finance" apps are generic chatbots. Trya's coach reads your real transactions (via open banking) so it can answer "can I afford this trip?" with your actual numbers. To be transparent: the coach uses OpenAI's API (under their enterprise terms, your queries aren't used for training), and everything else stays in our EU infrastructure.
2. Built for couples, not just individuals. Tag transactions with avatars, share one view. Somehow no major budget app does this properly.
3. No data selling. ACPR-certified. Your bank credentials never touch our servers (GoCardless handles the OAuth). I charge for the product, so I don't need to monetize your data.
Some numbers:
• 4.9/5 on Trustpilot, Google & co. (100+ reviews)
• 1,500+ EU banks supported, CSV import for everywhere else
• 27 languages on mobile
• Free plan; €7.99/mo, €49.99/yr (-48%), or €149.99 lifetime
🎁 Bonus: the 5 best comments in this thread each win a Lifetime license on launch day (May 5). I'll pick them myself, based on what's most thoughtful or honest.
I'll be here all day answering everything, including the hard questions on privacy, how we compare to Copilot/Monarch/Bankin/Finary, and why I built this solo.
One genuine question back: what's the one thing that would actually make you switch budget apps? Would love your brutal takes.
