Try Saying No

A fun way to ask questions people can’t say no to

TrySayingNo is a playful way to ask questions where saying “no” isn’t really an option. You create a page with a single question and share it with someone. The page shows “Yes” and “No”, but when someone tries to click “No”, it playfully avoids being selected. The result is a light, funny interaction that turns awkward asks into memorable moments. Unlike polls or forms, it’s built around one question, instant sharing, and mobile-first fun for dating, gifts, friends, and everyday humor.

What do you think? …

Hey everyone! Thanks for checking this out! The idea for TrySayingNo came from noticing how awkward some everyday questions can feel to ask directly. Things like asking someone out, asking for a favor, or even just making a lighthearted request. I wasn’t trying to solve a big productivity problem. I just wanted to make those moments feel more playful and less uncomfortable. While building it, the biggest shift was realizing that the interaction itself mattered more than features. Instead of adding options, settings, or complexity, I kept stripping things away until it was just one question and one small twist. Everything is built around speed, simplicity, and how people actually share things today, mostly through DMs and stories rather than public feeds. I’d genuinely love feedback. What worked, what felt confusing, or what you’d change if this were yours? Even small thoughts are super helpful. Happy to answer any questions as well 🙂
