I built TrustYPP after noticing something that always felt a bit questionable in the YouTube “guru” space. A lot of creators sell courses or advice about growing on YouTube, and the proof they show is usually just a screenshot of their revenue. The problem is… screenshots are incredibly easy to fake. So I built TrustYPP - a simple tool that connects to the YouTube Analytics API and generates a verification page showing revenue pulled directly from the creator’s account. The goal is simple: Creators can prove their numbers, and viewers can verify them before trusting what they see. This is very much a V1 and I’m still figuring out what people actually want from something like this. Some things I’d love feedback on: • Would creators actually want to verify their revenue publicly? • Would you trust verified revenue more than screenshots? • What would make something like this genuinely useful?
