Today, most compliance evidence is just stored screenshots, logs, or exported reports. Once they’re collected, there’s often no cryptographic proof that the artifact being reviewed later is the same one that originally existed. TrustSignal introduces a receipt-based verification model. During CI/CD, artifacts are hashed and a signed verification receipt is generated. That receipt can later be used to independently verify the integrity and provenance of the artifact.
