A free Chrome extension for anyone who builds or checks websites. Measure any element and the gap between two, edit CSS live, and test phone, tablet and desktop side by side. The new Audit tab lists what's wrong with the page, worst first: contrast, missing labels, slow images, typos, security headers, trackers before consent, broken links and SEO, each pointing at the exact spot. No account. Bonus: an MCP bridge lets Claude Code and Cursor use it all in your browser.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Aditya. I build websites, and I kept switching between three or four extensions and DevTools just to answer simple questions: how wide is this, what's the gap between these two cards, why is this font different, are there broken links on this page?
So I built TruePx, one extension that does all of it on the page itself:
📏 Measure: hover for size, padding and margin, click two elements for the exact distance
🔍 Inspect: computed CSS, box model, fonts, colors, contrast check
✏️ Edit: change CSS and text live, undo/redo, copy what you changed
🩺 Audit: one list of what's wrong with the page, worst first: low contrast, missing labels, slow images and Core Web Vitals, typos and grammar, missing security headers, trackers that load before the cookie banner. Click any issue and the page scrolls to it
🔎 SEO: broken links, missing alt text, headings, meta tags and structured data, each one pointing at the exact spot on the page
📱 Responsive: phone, tablet and desktop side by side
The part I'm most excited about: it has an MCP bridge (npx truepx-mcp), so Claude Code, Cursor or any AI agent can measure, inspect, audit and fix the page you're looking at in your real browser. Every audit issue also has a "Copy for AI" button that turns it into a prompt.
It's free, no account, no tracking, and nothing is sent to me. Google's speed test and the grammar check are the only parts that use an outside service, and only when you click them.
I'd love your honest feedback: what's missing, what's confusing, what would make you switch from your current ruler?
