Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Gopal, the creator of Truage.
I built Truage out of pure, personal frustration. I was waking up every morning checking my Whoop to see my exact recovery data, strain, and sleep metrics. I loved the data. But when I walked into my bathroom and looked at the $150 worth of skincare products on my counter, I realized I had absolutely zero data on whether any of them were actually working.
The skincare industry relies on us guessing. We buy a new serum, use it for 3 weeks, and ask our friends, "Does my skin look better?"
I wanted that same "Whoop-level" of daily, quantified feedback, but for my face. So, I built it.
Enter Truage: The Whoop for your skin. Here is how it works:
The Daily Scan: Take a 5-second selfie every morning. Our AI analyzes your face and calculates your biological "Skin Age" based on elasticity, moisture, pores, and fine lines.
The Daily Dermatology Report: Get instant, quantified feedback on whether your skin improved or degraded over the last 24 hours.
The Digital Shelf: Snap photos of the products you use. Truage tracks exactly which products correlate with your skin improving, and which ones are a waste of money.
Streaks: Keep your daily streak alive to build a massive historical dataset of your skin health.
I’m so excited to finally share this with the community. Because you all are the first to see it, I’m giving away 1 free month of Truage Pro to anyone from Product Hunt! 🎁

honestly this looks really useful, been burned by skincare products that promise the world before. one thing though, would be cool if you could compare analysis results side by side with reference photos of yourself under the same lighting, since i feel like my bathroom lighting alone messes with how my skin looks day to day.

@buketmdrp Hello Buket, Sorry I was outside so replying a little late than expected also excuse if I have typos because I am not a fan of using Ai when replying to comments. Coming to what you mentioned, I saw that as a problem too that what if lighting is inconsistent for each scan results can vary.
I am really happy to tell you that the facial scan has tracking feature which checks for optimised lighting and face being centred correctly and If that's not the case then it doesn't let you actually scan. So that solves this exact issue you were concerned about and I am glad you brought this up.
Thanks for your comment and insights can't wait to see you onboard and actually trying the app out!!

The progress tracking feature really stands out, love how it turns a vague "is this working?" question into actual data over time. Smart move tying it to skin age instead of just generic metrics.

Love how the focus is on tracking actual progress instead of just slapping another AI on skin analysis. The decision to measure against your own baseline over time is smart, feels like it was built by people who actually care about results over hype.
