👋 Hey Product Hunt, Deepak here, founder of Trooven ⛔️ The problem In case of employers and professionals: Many people post job openings and referrals on social media sites such as Twitter and Linkedin. These posts don't reach a large audience, and in some cases, they don't even get the right person for the position. Professionals in their organisation sometimes miss out on referral bonus perks as well :P In case of job seekers: According to research, just 10-20% of persons who posted resumes on job portals were employed. Even yet, based on my previous experience, I applied to a number of jobs on Angellist and on the company's website. As a result, the most of my applications were denied, and I received no response from a few of them. I received a response whenever I sent a cold email to the person who was hiring or referring. That way, I was able to get the job as well.
