AI trip planner with real local guides in your chat

Planning a trip shouldn't take 40 tabs. Trippin puts a real local guide directly in your trip chat — someone who knows what's overrated, what tourists miss, and what's actually worth your time. Tell it where you're going. Get a full day-by-day itinerary: routes, stays, things to do, things to skip. Change your mind anytime — your whole plan updates instantly. No blogs. No ChatGPT threads. No tourist traps. One conversation. A complete trip.

Hey PH 👋 I'm Shakul, co-founder of Trippin.
The last trip I planned took 40 tabs, a half-finished ChatGPT thread, 6 blog posts, and still ended with us overpaying at a spot every local would've skipped. We built Trippin to fix that.
🗺️ Tell it where you're going — get a full day-by-day itinerary in minutes, not hours
🔄 Change your mind, it adapts — swap a day, shift your budget, the whole plan updates
🧑🤝🧑 Chat with a real local guide — not a bot, an actual person who lives there. Ask what to skip, where locals eat, what the tourist reviews get wrong
The difference from ChatGPT or others: the local layer. The best moments of any trip aren't on a top-10 list. They come from someone who actually knows.
Drop a comment with where your next trip is — we'll show you exactly what Trippin builds for it. And if you've used an AI planner before, tell us what it got wrong. 👇
I'm Sarthak, co-founder and the person who built some of what's under the hood at Trippin.
The hardest part of building this wasn't the AI. It was making the local guide feel like a natural part of the planning flow — not a separate tab, not a chatbot bolted on the side, but someone who's actually in the conversation with you as your trip takes shape.
Getting that right took a lot of iteration. Early versions felt like you were switching between two different products. What we have now finally feels like one conversation.
A few things I'm personally most excited about:
🔧 The replanning logic — tell Trippin you changed your mind about a city and it doesn't just delete and rebuild. It understands what to keep and what to update
🧑🤝🧑 The guide handoff — the moment a local jumps in feels seamless because they already have context on where you're going and what you care about
📍 It gets more useful the more specific you are — vague inputs give decent plans, but the more you tell it, the sharper it gets
We're two people who shipped this in under a month and there's a lot still to build. If anything feels broken or off, I genuinely want to know — drop a comment or reach me directly.
