Hey everyone! I'm excited to share tripfindly. It's cute little tool I built to solve a real problem my girlfriend and I faced while planning our 6-month digital nomad journey. The Problem: When we started planning to escape the Dutch winter and travel as digital nomads, I turned to AI (with Google Sheets) to find the best destinations. But AI was hallucinating weather data left and right, making our research unreliable and frustrating. We needed real, accurate data to make informed decisions about where to live and work remotely. The Solution: Travel Destination Finder combines real weather data with comprehensive place information, making it super easy to filter destinations based on: 🌡️ Accurate temperature & rainfall data (no more AI hallucinations!) 💰 Cost of living for couples/solo travellers 🏖️ Activities (surfing, scuba diving, hiking, coastal locations) 🛡️ Safety levels 🌍 Timezone ranges for remote work 📅 Month-specific data for seasonal planning Why I Built This: This started as a personal tool for our own digital nomad adventure, but I realised other remote workers and travellers might face the same data reliability issues. It's still a work in progress, but I'd love to hear if you find it useful and what features would make it even better for your travel planning! Perfect for: Digital nomads planning their next destination Remote workers looking for ideal work locations Travellers who want data-driven destination choices Anyone tired of unreliable travel research tools Try it out and let me know what you think! What features would make this tool more valuable for your travel planning? :)
