Hello Hunters!
We are delighted to introduce you to Trendin. It’s a simple tool that alerts you as soon as a specified term is mentioned on Linkedin. Even if that word has not been tagged or is not a hashtag.
1 - Set up to ten terms that you want to track on Linkedin
2 - Trendin notifies you about new mentions every day
3 - Trendin also indicates the level of influence of the author of the mention
Trendin makes sure you don’t miss any business opportunities and lets you control your brand image on Linkedin.
Context:
Trendin was created by Linkalyze, the influence analysis tool on Linkedin. We have, therefore, integrated its algorithm to assess the influence, positive or negative, of a post’s author.

@thomas_pons Where do you find the lifetime subscription? I've only found a yearly one where this code gives a 50% discount? Thanks!

What's 1 search term/day? If I have 20 keywords I want to listen to, it will only search these 20 keywords once a day? How deep and extensive are the keyword search? Is there any areas of LinkedIN you can't search? Does it search on ads displayed too?
@dhdw For the moment, our offer allows you to check once a day if the term you are looking for has appeared on linkedin. The search extends over your 1,2,3+ network. In the same way as a search in the Linkedin search bar. So there are no keywords that can't be search. Quick question : you would prefer fewer keywords, but more regular updates?

@thomas_pons 1) High keywords & adjustable notification settings from instant to per hour or every 5 hours - speed of business & response time to opportunities is important 2) What's your product roadmap? Is this going to be end of this product? What's next? 3) So this tool doesn't connect to my own LinkedIn?
@dhdw 1) Thank you for this feedback. We will develop other plans. They may be better adapted to your needs. 2) We will integrate the filter by country. The product will evolve! 3) Yes, it will search from your linkedin network. Sorry if I misspoke, it's late here :-) !
Great team, good idea, many business use cases for this tool I’ve already been testing.
Question:
-What features are next on the roadmap?
- Can search queries work outside of my linkedin network or your LinkedIn networks?
@benjmerritt
Next feature : being able to get mentions from some selected countries
Search queries work outside your LinkedIn network (1, 2, 3 and 3+).

@thomas_pons can I specify search terms with exact matches (usually done with quotes)? Im getting a LOT of posts that are not related because it seems to be searching for the two terms separately and combining the search results.
I need to be able to search for sales opportunities using at least 5 different searches (because of the different keyword combinations/conditions).
is webhooks going to be offered?
@nerdcloud Hello ! Thank you for your message. You can use the boolean logic markers (", or, and ). Note, however, that some results appear because the search term is in the shared link in the publication.
In the 6$ plan you have access to 10 search terms as well as webhooks ;-)

hi is there any user guide on how to utilize terms to track on Linkedin? Would it be similar to google keyword research?
Hello ?makers
I have started using Trendin, but for the life of me, I cannot find the URL of the website. So I receive the email notifications, but cannot go further :/
I am probably an idiot, but could you include the URL in the automated email notification?
Cheers!
@stephnass Hi Steph!
There is no URL :)
You can find the notifications by clicking on your Trendin Chrome extension.
Or maybe this URL works for you (if you copy/paste it in Chrome): chrome-extension://hnfaoknidihlaefdeogopolookigppec/results.html
Looks really interesting and promissing... but on my side for the keywords I searched, no posts that were found were having the keywords I was looking for. They were a close match, but not exact. I'm not sure if it's related to the search engine of Linkedin or if it's the tool, but this is a bit of a bummer for me on it.
@hugohamelcom Thank you ! You can use the boolean logic markers (", or, and ). Note, however, that some results appear because the search term is in the shared link in the publication.
@thomas_pons Indeed, seems to work better now. Thanks for improving my search results :) Didn't think that the booleans would worked and seems like the NOT works too.
