Trelio helps freelancers and agencies stop doing unpaid work. Split a project into stages, each with its own price. Your client signs an agreement, then approves and pays for one stage at a time. The next stage stays locked until the previous one is paid — so the most you can ever be owed is a single stage. Clients pay directly into your own account. No escrow, no payment middleman.
Hey Product Hunt
I built Trelio (trelio.in) because of a pattern I kept seeing: you can deliver most of a project and only then find out the rest isn’t getting paid.
The usual answers are a big upfront or escrow. I wanted a third option that doesn’t sit in the money.
You split the work into priced stages. The client gets a private link — no account. They approve and pay the current stage into your UPI or gateway. The next stage stays locked until that payment clears. Max you’re owed is one stage. Trelio is not Trello, and it’s not escrow; we never hold funds.
Closed beta. Founding cohort only (open until 14 Nov): ₹200 gets you in, three months of the Agency plan (normally ₹9,999/mo), then 50% off for life on whichever paid tier you actually use. 30-day refund if it’s not for you.
Curious how you handle unpaid work on milestone projects today — especially if you don’t want escrow and the client won’t join another tool.
