What's great

This app is phenomenal, and the customer service is even better.

When I ran into an issue, Alex personally responded to my email and had the original problem corrected within 24 hours. Beyond that, he took the time to ask thoughtful follow-up questions about additional implementation suggestions I provided and genuinely read through all of them.

You can tell this project is personal to him, and that he truly wants it to succeed. That level of customer support, paired with the flexibility of the app and how quickly it continues to scale and improve, makes Transition a no-brainer for anyone looking to get into the world of triathlon training.

What needs improvement

The only area where I think there’s still room to grow is diving a little deeper into the performance analytics and stats side of the app. That said, Alex has already been receptive to that feedback and immediately started discussing potential next steps and improvements. It’s clear he genuinely listens to users and wants to build something that evolves alongside the athletes using it.

vs Alternatives

One thing that has really stood out to me is the quality of the strength programming. With other apps — and even a lot of general AI-generated plans — the strength workouts often feel like random exercises thrown together with no real purpose. Transition’s strength sessions actually feel intentional and relevant to triathlon performance. The exercise selection complements the swim, bike, and run training instead of competing with it, and the rep ranges feel thoughtfully designed so you can build strength without compromising recovery for the rest of your training week.

What's great

This is a great app for training, especially for a first time triathlete! I love the flexibility to move training sessions around as a full time working mom. I live that I can ask questions as a beginner and get clear answers.
