Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Manolis, the maker of Transcribee.
I built Transcribee because I was frustrated with transcription tools that either felt bloated, expensive, or unclear about what happens to your audio after you upload it.
Transcribee is a privacy-first mobile app that turns your recordings into accurate transcripts and structured AI summaries. Your audio is processed for transcription, then deleted. Everything stays on your phone, nothing is stored in the cloud.
It is designed for individuals, not enterprise teams. Record a meeting, lecture, interview, or quick voice note and get organised insights in seconds.
It is available on iOS and Android.
I would genuinely love your feedback on:
• The privacy approach
• The summaries quality
• The pricing model
• What features you would want next
Thanks for checking it out. Happy to answer any questions today 🙌
How does the AI summarization handle meetings with multiple speakers and topic switches throughout? Privacy focused transcription is increasingly important, nice launch!

@mcarmonas Hi! Summarization focuses on delivering the most important parts of the meeting, highlighting key points and action items assigned to specific speakers. As the transcript supports speaker recognition, speakers are mentioned in the summary as well - eg. "Speaker A said X while Speaker B said Y..". Regarding privacy, Transcribee works on a keep-it-local as much as possible basis: Everything is kept on-device without ever being saved on cloud. The only remote functions are the ones involving services that are much more powerful when performed on proper infrastructure rather than on-device, such as transcription and summarisation. And even then, everything is promptly removed online once delivered to the users' device. This, together with no-model-training agreements with our providers ensure users get as much privacy as possible, while also getting a best-in-class service.

Thank you once more for your interest!
Kudos @cyfer!
I find the key-topics summary and the ability to quickly answer questions on my recording super handy!
