The importance of the psychological component of day trading is always talked about, but there aren’t many tools that address it. There are thousands of trade journaling templates and apps that lean more towards the technical side of your trading but none that allow users to journal specifically about their emotions and better understand themselves as a trader. Many traders struggle with the plethora of emotions that come with trading and money and don’t have an effective, actionable way to begin analyzing these emotions. I’m one of these traders, so I built a low cost tool to do it.
