As a trader myself, one lesson I learned early is that **every profitable trader keeps a journal**. Recording your trades, reviewing your mistakes, and understanding what worked (and what didn't) is one of the fastest ways to improve. The goal isn't just to win more trades—it's to stop repeating the same mistakes.
When I started trading, I used a simple notebook to write down every trade. Later, I searched for online trading journal tools, hoping to make the process easier. While there were some great products available, I found that many of them were either too expensive, too complicated to use, or packed with features that felt overwhelming, especially for beginners.
That's when the idea for **TradeJournalPro** was born.
I wanted to build a trading journal that is **simple, powerful, and affordable**—a platform that helps traders focus on improving their performance instead of struggling with complicated software.
Since we genuinely value user feedback, we've made it possible for every new user to **journal their first 100 trades completely free**. We want traders to experience the platform, see whether it actually helps them become more disciplined and consistent, and only then decide if they want to subscribe.
We've also worked hard to keep our pricing much more affordable than many existing trading journal platforms because we believe every trader should have access to a tool that helps them grow.
This is just the beginning, and we'd truly love your feedback. If you come across any bugs, have feature suggestions, or simply want to share your experience, please reach out through our **Contact Us** page or email us anytime at **[support@tradejournalpro.in](mailto:support@tradejournalpro.in)**.
Thank you for checking out TradeJournalPro! I hope it becomes a valuable part of your trading journey, just as the idea started from mine. 🚀

As someone who trades futures heavily, a feature I keep wishing for in journals like this is automatic screenshot attachment to each trade entry, pulling from my broker's trade confirmations or even my clipboard. Would save a ton of time versus uploading manually each time.

One thing I'd love to see is a tagging system for emotions or mental state at the time of each trade. Something quick like dropdown tags for "confident," "fomo," "revenge trading," etc. It would help connect psychological patterns to actual performance numbers way more clearly than just looking at P&L alone.

The analytics dashboard looks genuinely well thought out, especially how it surfaces losing patterns alongside the risk metrics instead of burying them in submenus. Nice work on the execution.

Have you thought about adding a tagging system for trade setups or emotions? Something like letting us mark a trade as "revenge trade" or "followed my plan" would make it way easier to spot patterns in what actually works versus what hurts our account.

The AI-powered pattern recognition is genuinely impressive, surfacing losing tendencies I didn't even realize I had after just a week of logging. Multi-asset support done this cleanly is rare to see in trading tools.

the analytics dashboard looks really clean and the way you can filter by asset class without losing the performance overview is honestly such a thoughtful touch
