Hi! I’m the creator of Trackova.
The inspiration for this app actually started on my kitchen fridge. I was tired of habit apps charging $10/month—it felt like a "subscription tax" just to improve my life. So, I went old school: paper and magnets.
But soon, two things happened:
1) My fridge was buried under paper. I had too many goals and was getting lost in the clutter.
2) Every time I wanted to see my progress, I had to manually count streaks from day one. It was exhausting.
I tried going back to apps, but I found two extremes: they were either way too expensive or "over-gamified" with features that felt like distractions rather than tools.
How Trackova evolved:
While building the initial version, I realized that tracking isn't the hard part - starting is. I found myself staring at a blank screen wondering what my "fitness routine" should actually look like. That’s how Goal Bundles were born. Instead of you doing the work, we provide the roadmap that scales with you.
I also realized that life happens. I once lost a 30-day streak because of one busy Tuesday, and it made me want to delete the app entirely. That’s why I added the Protection Shield—to give us permission to be human without losing our momentum.
My goal with Trackova is simple: A clean, focused tool that doesn't break the bank.
