This was a 'scratch your own itch' project. I just wanted to clean up messy URLs (utm_, fbclid_). But then I added a one-click Web Archive lookup. Then a full regex redirect engine (for old.reddit!). Then 'Tweaks' to fix sites that block copy-paste. It got out of hand. Now, it's Trackless Links Pro, a full power-user toolkit as a single Universal Purchase for Mac, iPhone, and iPad, all with iCloud Sync. To celebrate the launch, the app is discounted by over 50% this weekend!
Hey everyone! I'm Alex, the solo dev behind Trackless Links Pro.
This whole thing started from a simple annoyance: I was sick of sharing ridiculously long, ugly URLs full of tracking junk. I built a quick, barebones script for myself just to clean them. It was ugly, but it worked.
But then the feature creep began.
First, I got annoyed with "new" Reddit, so I built a redirect engine to force old.reddit.com (with full regex support, of course).
Then, I kept losing articles that were edited or deleted, so I added a one-click Web Archive lookup (Wayback Machine, and others).
Finally, I got fed up with sites that block copy-paste, so I built the "Tweaks" engine to restore native browser functions.
The problem was, I had this powerful tool that still looked terrible. I couldn't share it. So I spent the last few months obsessing over the UI, rebuilding everything in SwiftUI to make it feel polished and perfectly native on iPhone, iPad, and now Mac.
Trackless Links Pro is the result - a single Universal Purchase that runs on all your devices, with iCloud Sync for all your filters, redirects, and tweaks. It's the toolkit I always wanted for Safari.
To celebrate the launch, the app is discounted by over 50% for the next 7 days!
I'm here all day to answer any questions! I'd love to know: what's your biggest web annoyance, and what's the first redirect rule you'd build?
Looking forward to the feedback!

Trackless Links does one thing and does it great, it kills trackers so I can share links without the creepy surveillance. Fast, simple and not heavy. Recommend it. I personally use it as a complement to my stack of wipr2 and just for redundancy ublock origin lite. A must have!
